Timoney is proud to officially announce its selection as the hybrid electric powertrain supplier for Milrem Robotics’ new 8x8 Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV), HAVOC.

Milrem Robotics, the world’s leading robotics and autonomous systems developer, has announced its first wheeled 8x8 RCV, representing the pinnacle of next-generation hybrid unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) technology,

At the heart of HAVOC is the advanced Timoney T-9000e hybrid electric powertrain, which ensures an extended operational range and near-silent movement capabilities, boasting superior off-road performance, making it highly effective in rugged terrains. The cutting-edge Timoney electric driveline delivers instantaneous torque, enabling faster response times and enhanced mobility. Additionally, the vehicle’s pivot steering capabilities allow for a dramatically reduced turning radius, ensuring optimal manoeuvrability in environments ranging from open deserts and urban combat zones to high-altitude mountain passes.

Timoney is collaborating  with Milrem Robotics, offering their support and expertise in designing and integrating the T-9000e driveline and steering system into the HAVOC RCV wheeled variant. Leveraging their in-house simulation software, Timoney provides critical performance insights, from grade climbs to steering performance, and trench crossings, ensuring the HAVOC RCV is mission ready, long before production begins.

Join us at IDEX on February 17-21, where Timoney’s T-9000e electric axle and powerline solutions will be featured. IDEX, held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, is a premier global defence platform, bringing together leading organizations, key stakeholders, and government and military officials for networking and collaboration.
